FISE exhibition in Columbia
11.12.2019
The growth market of Latin America is important for our development, that is why we made a decision to visit FISE and demonstrate our production there as early as last summer. Since than we have started an active preparation for the event organization which was detailed by Marketing Specialist Elena Streltsova.
"We have started preparing as early as last summer, but due to some difficulties in communication with the contractors, we managed to complete it just before the exhibition. All exhibition employees and contractors for building booths communicate only in Spanish. No one understands English, so they even didn't answer our e-mails. In order to carry on all business correspondence in Spanish, I had to use Google Translator.
As a result, the booth of Streamer at FISE was good-looking, but this took a lot of effort for us. On behalf of the company, Product Manager Mikhail Zhitenev, Office Manager Natalia Groll, and Armando Portalanza were working at the exhibition”
Streamer was demonstrating equipment for drying oil-filled transformers Transec, line lightning protection devices, ThermoMonitoring, and Surge counters.
FISE takes place once every two years in order to strengthen and promote the Columbian electric power. The exhibition attracts about 200 exponents and approximately 8 thousand visitors.
Companies supplying raw materials, production, stock, and equipment, investors, engineering companies, consulting companies, universities, and also research and development centers were participating in the event.
Among the key participants of FISE, there were such market players as Sofamel, 4S Ingenieria, ATA Electrics, Axis, AYC Energy, Borna IED, CIDET, Cobres de Colombia, Comercial ALPA SAS, Eccel Ingenieria, Emincco, Erco Energía, Enersa, Gamesa Electric, and many other. Acquaintance with them allows researching the Columbian market and expanding in it.
The FISE participants achieve greater recognizability of their products or services and get a capability for interaction with other electrical companies while promoting their company. Articles about the exhibition are actively published in specialized media.

First installation of TRANSEC units in Ecuador

Vietnam Ha Giang Power Company will test Streamer innovative devices of lightning protection.

Ha Giang is a mountainous province with a complex topography and experiences extremely high lightning density during the thunderstorm season. 110 kV lines in the province mostly pass through mountainous terrain, many rivers, and streams, so breaks of the line wires due to lightning, are not uncommon. Most of the problem areas are concentrated in areas such as the Nam Ngan hydroelectric power plant and the city of Viet Kuang. Installation of innovative lightning protection devices to provide the region with uninterrupted power supply was necessary.
