FIREX International Exhibition 2022 finished
14.06.2022Streamer Electric AG and Transec Electric Limited were happy to participate in FIREX, one of the major worldwide exhibitions for fire & safety protection solutions.
It was the first time that the solution FIPRES, electrical fire prevention & overheating control system, was showcased in the United Kingdom. It received an enthusiastic response from all visitors who came across the Streamer/Transec booth. Visitors noted the safety benefits, effective simplicity, and overall value of FIPRES. We could engage with about 50 people, including potential agents, distributors, and end users, who left their contacts to discuss further sales and cooperation on FIPRES. Most of them were from the UK and Ireland. The other ones came from Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Thanks to this exhibition, Transec Electric Ltd will be able to build a network of distributors in the UK & Ireland, and Streamer Electric AG will once again increase its worldwide reach for FIPRES.
The 3 days of FIREX were also very enjoyable because the Streamer/Transec team could finally be reunited after 2 long years of COVID separation. Even with all the online tools we are used to communicating with nowadays, it always feels much better to be together in one place to discuss work, but not only.
And when this reunion happens in sunny London, what else could you ask for better?

Streamer met with its old friends over the world - it was a nice and warm event, the first big one after the Covid times. CIGRE was also very useful in setting up new cooperation opportunities, mostly in the European region.
First LLPD installation for E-Distribuzione near Oderzo, Veneto, Italy
In 2019, the University of Napoli contacted Streamer Electric AG in order the find a lightning protection solution for medium voltage lines. Prof. Amedeo Andreotti was looking for medium voltage line protection devices for E-Distribuzione, the Distribution utility of Italy, part of the ENEL group owner of the electrical network in Italy but also many other electrical networks around the world. E- Distribuzione is actively looking to improve the lightning outage rate on their overhead line network and particularly in the northern part of Italy.
