LLPD d69z
This device is there to protect important networks from direct lightning strikes and back flashovers. Indented to be installed along the protected line, it works perfectly on distribution (sub-transmission) lines with the highest voltage of equipment up to 72.5 kV.
d69z ensures lightning protection of insulators from flashovers as well as overhead lines from power outages caused by insulation flashover and subsequent fault current flow.
Line lightning protection device d69z has successfully passed different tests in a number of laboratories, including a full series of test at CESI (Milano) in 2019, which confirms its ultimate reliability. It also enables the expected life time to be up to decades.
Operational principle
This product operates on the basis of EasyQuench technology.
d69z can easily be adapted to poles/towers of totally different configuration. This is possible due to various installation options.
