The first Transec unit has been installed in Kazakhstan and Central Asia by Streamer30.03.2020
In mid-March 2020, the first installation of the Transec unit has been completed in Kazakhstan.
The transformer insulation drying unit was installed onto the transformer S3T TDC-125000/110 of TOO GRES Topar (TOO Kazakhmys Energy) for a pilot production. GRES Topar is the nationally significant power plant located in the vicinity of Topar settlement of the Karaganda Region of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The negotiations have been under way since June 2019 (a presentation and a preparation of a technical and commercial proposal).
The management of TOO Kazakhmys Energy took an interest in our proposal, and contracts were exchanged in December 2019.
In late February 2020, the completed unit was sent to the facility for installation. The Transec unit is installed in a metal enclosure fastened to a wall next to the transformer. The inlet and outlet points are connected through a flange joint instead of the previously used adsorption filter of the transformer cooler. The package includes a humidity and temperature monitoring system at the unit inlet and outlet (the information is presented on the LCD display) which allows the personnel to monitor the oil humidity on-line.
Streamer is looking forward to a long-term relationship with TOO GRES Topar.
